1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SQL Quest (sqlquest.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
SQL Quest is an online SQL learning platform that provides interactive challenges, AI-powered tutoring, mock interviews, and structured learning paths. The service is available in Free and Pro tiers.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use SQL Quest.
4. Free and Pro Tiers
Free Tier: Provides access to Easy and Medium challenges, limited AI tutor usage (3 calls/day), the first 10 days of the 30-Day Challenge, and one mock interview. Free tier access may be modified at our discretion.
Pro Tier: Unlocks all challenges (including Hard), unlimited AI tutor usage, the full 30-Day Challenge, all mock interviews, and additional features. Pro is available via Monthly ($19/mo), Annual ($99/yr), or Lifetime ($199 one-time) plans.
5. Payments and Billing
All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to Pro:
- Monthly and Annual plans auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date
- You authorize us to charge your payment method on file
- Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes
- Lifetime plans are a one-time payment with no recurring charges
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: We offer a 7-day refund policy from the date of purchase for Monthly and Annual plans. Lifetime plans are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 10 challenges. To request a refund, email support@sqlquest.app.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or redistribute your Pro account access
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automated-access the platform
- Use the AI tutor to generate content unrelated to SQL learning
- Abuse, harass, or impersonate other users on leaderboards or community features
- Circumvent Pro tier restrictions or manipulate XP/streak data
- Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the platform's security
8. Intellectual Property
All content on SQL Quest — including challenges, datasets, lesson text, UI design, and branding — is owned by SQL Quest or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
SQL queries you write on the platform remain yours.
9. AI Tutor Disclaimer
The AI tutor is powered by third-party AI technology. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. SQL Quest is an educational tool and does not guarantee specific learning outcomes, interview results, or employment.
10. Limitation of Liability
SQL Quest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SQL Quest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@sqlquest.app.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SQL Quest after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
