Comp Tier Labels
HR is publishing an internal comp-band table for the next planning cycle. Classify each employee by salary into one of these case-sensitive labels (exact spelling and capitalization matter — 'Top Tier' is not the same as 'top tier'):
- 'Top Tier' — salary >= 100000
- 'Senior' — salary 70000–99999
- 'Mid Tier' — salary 40000–69999
- 'Junior' — salary < 40000
Show name, salary, comp_tier. Sort by salary descending, then name ascending.
The trap here is purely typographical: SQL doesn't care if you write 'top tier' or 'TopTier' — your query runs fine — but the expected output uses one specific casing, and a row-by-row comparison fails on the first character that doesn't match.
